Quick Start Guide #

Welcome to the Quick Start Guide! This guide will walk you through the essential steps to get started with Webfluss, helping you build your first website quickly and easily. Follow these steps to go from sign-up to publishing your website.

Step 1: Sign Up and Log In #

To get started, create a new account or log into your existing Webfluss account. Once you're logged in, you'll be directed to your Account Dashboard where you can manage your websites.

Step 2: Creating a New Website #

• From the Account Dashboard, click on the Create New Website button.
• Enter a title for your website.
• Choose from a selection of Color Palettes to set the visual tone for your site.
• Click Create to start building your site.

Note: In the future, a font selection feature may be added to this process, allowing for even more customization.

Step 3: Navigating the Website Workspace #

The Website Workspace is where you will manage your website. Here's a quick overview:

• Left Navigation Menu: This menu allows you to access the Page Builder, manage pages, and configure settings.
• Main Content Area: This area displays content based on your selections in the navigation menu.

Step 4: Using the Page Builder #

The Page Builder allows you to create and customize your website.

• Click on Page Builder in the left navigation menu.
• Drag and drop elements like text, images, and buttons onto the page.
• Customize each element by clicking on it and adjusting settings in the right sidebar.

Note: Webfluss is a mobile-first platform, meaning your content is automatically optimized for mobile devices. You can preview how your site looks on mobile by default.

Step 5: Managing Pages #

In the All Pages section, you can manage your website's pages. Here's how you can navigate the page management tools:

• Add Page: Click the Add Page button to create a new page.
• Edit, Duplicate, or Delete Pages: Use the available options to manage your existing pages.

Right Navigation Menu #

The Right Sidebar provides additional controls for page management, including:

• Preview: Preview your page to see how it appears live.
• Color Palettes: Adjust the color scheme for your page.
• Page Background: Set a custom background for your page.
• Content Alignment: Control the positioning of elements on the page.
• Add Page: Quickly create a new page.
• Sort Pages: Organize the order of pages.
• Duplicate Page: Make a copy of the current page.
• Settings and Delete: Access settings or delete the page if necessary.

This layout allows for efficient page management, providing a combination of overview and detailed control within the workspace.

Step 6: Customizing Settings #

Customize your website settings by accessing the Settings section in the left navigation menu.

• Configure your custom domain or use a free subdomain provided by Webfluss.
• Set up basic SEO settings like meta titles and descriptions to improve your search engine visibility.

Step 7: Preview and Publish #

Once you've finished building your site, preview it by clicking the Preview button.

• Currently, all changes are published automatically, but a Save Draft and Publish feature is coming soon for more control over when your changes go live.
