Analytics and Monitoring

Understanding how users interact with your website or app is crucial for enhancing the overall experience. However, many tracking tools are complex, expensive, and often overlook privacy concerns. Webfluss offers a straightforward, privacy-friendly solution for tracking user behavior, powered by the open-source tool Pan Analytics, ensuring you gain valuable insights while safeguarding user privacy.

Setting Up Analytics Tools

Webfluss offers a variety of analytics options to help you monitor your website’s performance:

  • Built-In Product Analytics: Webfluss provides lightweight and privacy-focused analytics out of the box. These tools allow you to track key metrics like views, hovers, and clicks without collecting personal data from your users, ensuring that user privacy is always respected.

  • Recommended Privacy-First Solutions:

    • Umami: A simple, privacy-conscious analytics tool that helps you monitor user activity without collecting personal data.
    • Fathom Analytics: Another privacy-first solution designed to give you insights into user behavior without compromising privacy.
  • Third-Party Integrations: While Webfluss is focused on privacy, we also recognize that some businesses need more comprehensive analytics tools. Webfluss allows you to integrate with:

    • Google Analytics: A powerful, in-depth analytics platform that tracks user behavior, conversion rates, and more.
    • Google Tag Manager: Manage your tracking scripts and tags from one central platform.

  3. Enter the appropriate ID (e.g., G-XXXXXXXXXX for Google Analytics or GTM-XXXXXX for Google Tag Manager).
  4. Save your changes to begin tracking.
